Rodes City Run Facts:
|
|
- The Rodes City Run began
in 1981 and is the largest 10K road race in the state of Kentucky (and this region). The
race represents the kickoff to spring road racing and is the first "leg" of the Cingular Wireless Triple Crown of RunningSM.
- This event ranked 17th in
the 1999 top 10k U.S. races (USA
Track & Field). And, with last year's race of nearly 5,500 participants breaking
the 1983 record (5,003) for this event, the RCR should move up dramatically in the 2000
rankings.
There are
a lot of positive changes this year, so be sure to check out the Rodes City Run
"NEWS" and "EVENT INFORMATION" sections.
