RODES CITY RUN INFO
This is where you'll find all the
information on the race such as the course, awards, age groups, pre and late registration,
etc.

AWARDS |
Each
entrant will receive a colorful, distinctive all-cotton T-shirt. Rodes gift certificates
in the amounts of $300.00, $175.00, $125.00, $100.00 and $75.00 will be awarded to the
first five men and the first five women winners. Also, Rodes gift certificates in the
amount of $30.00, $25.00, and $20.00 will be awarded to the first three winners in each
age group (top five overall excluded). Course record winner will receive an additional
$200 Rodes certificate (records are 28:59-men's and 33:45-women's). Winners will be
announced in the Starks Building Court (outside Rodes 2nd level) at approximately 10:30
a.m. following the race. |

AGE GROUPS |
14 and under, 15-19,
20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over
(separate groups for male and female), Wheel Chair (overall). Age group awards will be
mailed week of April 2nd. |

ENTRIES |
$18 prior to March
19, 2001. $25 late entry fee afterwards. Sorry, entry Fees are
nonrefundable and nontransferable. Send forms, along with entry fee payable to Rodes

PRE
REGISTRATION |
There
will be a two pre-race registration and early packet-pickup stations this
year:
» Rodes-Oxmoor Center on Wednesday, March 21st, 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
» Rodes-Downtown (Starks Building Court) on Thursday, March 22nd, 12:00 NOON to 6:00 p.m.
T-shirts will also be available at this time. |

Start: Fourth Avenue &
Broadway Street (8:30 a.m.)
Finish: Brook & Main Streets
Awards: Starks Building Court at
approximately 10:30 a.m. (outside Rodes second level)
Runner's number must be picked up at the
Fifth Street Parking Garage on race day (They Will NOT Be Mailed!). FREE parking will be
available in the garage (enter from Fifth Street only!) Reporting time begins at
6:30 a.m.
Late registration is $25 and is possible
up to 8:00 a.m. race day. |

COURSE |
USATF
certified course (#KY 01012 PR), starting at Fourth and Broadway and finishing at Brook
and Main Streets. Time splits will be given at each mile. Also, there are three water
stations on the course and water/sports drinks at the "FINISH". "Pure Tap"
water courtesy of The Louisville Water Company, and "All Sport" compliments of
PepsiCo. |

RESULTS
|
Race
results and photos will be posted here as soon as possible, immediately following the
event. Complete results will be mailed to each registered runner 2-3 weeks after the race.
